Supported Independent Living (SIL) is a type of NDIS support that helps people with disability live more independently, either on their own or with housemates, while receiving regular or 24/7 help with daily life.

We take the time to understand your preferences: where you’d like to live, who you’d like to live with, what lifestyle you would choose to have, and what kind of support you need to feel safe and confident in your home. From there, we build the right team around you, with a Support Team who are friendly, trained and focused on helping you achieve your goals

What we offer through Supported Independent Living (SIL)

Our SIL services in Perth, Peel and Albany are designed around your NDIS goals, backed by a friendly team offering personalised support.

From everyday tasks that build your skills to round-the-clock support, we are with you every step of the way.

Regular or overnight assistance, tailored to your needs and routines.

Help with showering, dressing and other daily living tasks, supporting your comfort, safety and independence.

Our team is trained in managing complex daily needs – including support with dysphagia, diabetes, seizures, PEG feeding, and complex medications.

NDIS Supported
Independent Living (SIL)

SIL (Supported Independent Living) is the day-to-day support you receive to live more independently, while SDA (Specialist Disability Accommodation) refers to the home itself, designed for people with extreme functional impairment or very high support needs.

With a SIL plan, you will live in a shared or individual home with trained Support Workers to help with tasks like cooking, personal care or social support. The ratio of Support Workers to housemates would be based on your NDIS goals and funding.

Yes, we take the time to find a suitable housemate and an accommodation based on your needs, living goals and funding, to ensure that you feel safe, respected and comfortable. Matching is an integral part of our SIL process to ensure that the people we serve are content with their living arrangement.
