A person-first approach, built on trust

At Interchange WA, we believe in doing things with you, not for you. Everything we do is shaped by your goals, your preferences and the life you want to live. We take time to listen, build relationships and design support that works for you, now and in the future.

Whether you need help at home, in the community or with the NDIS, we’re here to support you with a team that knows you and is ready to walk alongside you.

Everyone belongs.

Welcoming communities that value, respect and empower people with disability.

Helping people lead great lives.

Our values, in action

Our work is guided by four values: Individuality, Respect, Empowerment and Belonging. These are more than words to us – they shape how we show up every day.

Learn more

Individuality

Valuing people, partners and services

Everyone has unique traits, interests and goals that shape who they are. We celebrate individuality by supporting people to live authentically, encouraging self-expression, and building confidence to follow their own path.

Respect

Valuing choice, culture and diversity

Respect means valuing people as they are, embracing differences in culture, opinion and choice. It’s about listening, caring, and creating safe spaces where everyone feels acknowledged, supported and free to be themselves.

Empowerment

Valuing abilities, goals and learning

Empowerment gives people the confidence to set goals, overcome fears and celebrate achievements. It’s about guiding with support, recognising abilities, and fostering pride in who they are and what they accomplish.

Belonging

Valuing relationships and shared places

Belonging is the feeling of being accepted, included and valued as part of a community. It creates connection, purpose and shared meaning, reminding people they have a place where they truly fit.

Your neighbourhood, your team

Our Support Teams are based in your local area – from Perth to Peel and to Albany. That means they understand your community, reduce travel time, and help you build strong, consistent relationships. We work alongside the people who matter to you: your family, friends, colleagues and supporters.

Every person we support is backed by a small, connected team:

  • Support Workers who assist with your daily goals and routines
  • Schedulers who manage your rosters and keep things running smoothly
  • Team Leaders who oversee quality and support your team
  • Area Managers who support the Team Leaders and addresses your feedback
  • Customer Engagers who work with you to onboard you and support you with the right support

Our history

Interchange WA was founded by a group of families who believed people with disability deserved more – more choice, more connection, and more inclusion in everyday life. That belief sparked a movement that’s been growing ever since.

A commitment to safety and rights

We believe everyone has the right to feel safe, supported and free from harm. Interchange WA follows the NDIS Zero Tolerance Framework, taking a strong stance against abuse, neglect and exploitation.

This means:

  • We act on anything that makes someone feel unsafe
  • We train our team to prevent, identify and respond to abuse
  • We listen to concerns and protect your privacy if you report something
  • We promote a culture of transparency and human rights

If something doesn’t feel right, we encourage you to speak up. You can do so anonymously and without fear.
