Supported Independent Living (SIL) is a type of support to help you live in your home independently or with other like-minded NDIS Participants.
At Interchange, we believe in empowering people with disability to live their best lives. Our range of SIL options is designed to be flexible and tailored to your unique needs, ensuring that everyone feels respected and included.
Our local teams are here to support you NDIS registered disability services with round-the-clock support, thoroughly reviewing people’s individual needs and preferences when considering where they might like to live. With our experienced team by your side, you’ll feel empowered to live life to the fullest, making each day at home as comfortable and fulfilling as possible.
Our individualised and shared living SIL services align with your NDIS plan and your friendly and responsive support team offers a range of supports tailored to your needs:
- 24/7 or Visiting Support: Daily assistance and overnight support to ensure you have help available when you need it to thrive in your home.
- Personal Care: Support with daily living tasks such as showering and dressing, ensuring your safety, comfort and developing your independence.
- Developing Life Skills: Empowering you to develop essential skills from navigating public transport, to making informed decisions, and more.
- Meal Planning and Preparation: Ensuring you enjoy a nutritious and balanced diet providing you with meals you enjoy.
- Household Assistance: Help with tasks like laundry and grocery shopping to ease your daily responsibilities.
- Social Engagement: Opportunities to participate in activities that develop connections and create meaningful experiences.
- Transportation: From supporting you to access public transport to providing you with accessible options through our wheelchair-accessible vans. We have you covered to get out and about in your local community.
- Experienced & Trained Team: We work with you to understand your needs and assign you to an experienced team that’s local and tailored to you. Interchange ensures that the team has the necessary training, skills and experience to help you achieve your goals. We are here to provide you with exceptional, safe and high-quality disability supports that enables you to live safe and well at home.

SIL Locations
We are currently expanding our SIL options in Mandurah through our merger with Diversity South, who is an established NDIS provider in the Peel region for over 30 years.
