A Journey of Support and Fulfillment
Working as a Support Worker has been an incredibly rewarding experience for Wesley over the past four years. One of the most memorable moments in his career was when he volunteered to take a participant to the dentist. This task had everyone a bit worried, but Wesley proposed to do it. With lots of encouragement and redirection, everything went smoothly, and the participant got his teeth checked and cleaned. This was a significant achievement for the customer and a moment that highlighted the impact of Wesley’s work.
What motivates Wesley to do an amazing job every day is knowing that his work has a direct impact on someone else’s life. It Is incredibly fulfilling for him to see the positive changes he can bring about, especially when he sees a smile on the people’s faces. This is what he enjoys the most about supporting people with disability and working in this sector.
Over the past four years, Wesley has been pleased with his career progression. He has acquired new skills and effectively managed new behaviors, finding the experience both challenging and rewarding.
