Who is your idol? Imagine if they personally wished you a happy birthday – how special would that be? That’s exactly what happened to Jacob, our wonderful customer from our Myaree Neighbourhood.
On the morning of his birthday, Jacob’s Support Workers planned to surprise him with a Harley Reid t-shirt. They headed off to the West Coast Eagles store to make it happen.
When they arrived at Lathlain Oval, they spotted Jackson Nelson, a former premiership player, along with rookie Jason Gilbee. Jason then FaceTimed Harley Reid, who also took a moment to wish Jacob a happy birthday!
Jacob was invited to join a game, where both teams sang “Happy Birthday” just for him. What a memorable experience!
As if that wasn’t enough, Jacob was fortunate to meet Liam Ryan, another Eagles player, in the car park, who also wished him a very happy birthday.
Finally, wearing his brand-new Harley Reid t-shirt, which he eagerly put on, Jacob left for home feeling absolutely thrilled.
What an amazing Birthday!
