Domestic independence

We can assist customers to develop the skills and resources they need to achieve domestic independence, including assistance in dealing with housing organisations and government departments.

Meal preparation

Interchange can assist customers to learn how to properly shop for, plan, prepare and store meals in their home.

Budgeting

For customers who want to be able to manage their own household budget, our Community Facilitators are available to assist customers in developing the skills and resources they need to develop and maintain a household budget.

Shopping

We can assist customers in developing the skills they need to manage their own household shopping, including writing lists and managing money, as well transport and mobility training.

Customers can be supported to develop the skills they need to clean and maintain a home, enabling them to move towards a more independent living arrangement.

Gardening

Community Facilitators can support customers to develop the skills they need to maintain a garden in their home, with support in activities including weeding, pruning and lawn-mowing.
