Service Delivery Coordinator -
Rockingham and Mandurah
Fred Lawson is a stalwart of disability services in Western Australia. He began in 1982 with the Disability Services Commission, assisting people with disability who were affected by drug and alcohol issues. He then worked for Rocky Bay for ten years in the music and arts program whist being instrumental in establishing their employment agency as Assistant Manager. Fred joined Interchange in 2004, bringing his wealth of experience and knowledge to Interchange to assist in setting up our first satellite office in Rockingham. Fred’s passion for the arts has provided a platform for Interchange service users to explore their creative talents, by writing and directing 4 musical theatre productions and most recently a film, that have involved the customer group from beginning to end. Fred is Interchange’s longest serving employee and spends his spare time performing Blues and Jazz at various locations across the country.

Assistant Coordinator -
Rockingham and Mandurah
Craig began his career in disability services as a volunteer residential support worker in his home town of Kellerberrin, in 2006. After moving to Perth with his family in early 2012, Craig joined the Interchange team as a Community Facilitator. He quickly demonstrated his initiative for writing client-centred service plans and was appointed an Assistant Coordinator at our Midland branch. Since this appointment, he has commenced studies in Cert III and IV in Disability Work, with the aim of completing a Diploma. He believes that the key to life-long learning and independence is to take small, planned steps to achieve bigger picture aspirations. From 2013, Craig will be an Assistant Coordinator of our Rockingham and Mandurah service centres.
